从《人物志》与《颜氏家训》看魏晋南北朝的人才观

摘    要:本文根据《人物志》与《颜氏家训》中关于人才分类和人才成就观的论述 ,结合魏晋南北朝有关人才理论的流变轨迹 ,对比分析了二书的人才思想内容和特征。本文认为 :除了受时代环境影响外 ,个人经历、家族背景以及个人写作动机亦是影响魏晋南北朝人才观思想风貌和文化风格的重要因素。本文进一步指出 ,二书是中国传统官僚士人知人论世思想的产物 ,具有追逐世功和全身避祸的倾向 ,从另一侧面展示出中国古代人才理论的功利性和保守性特征

Abstract:Through a discussion of the outlook on talented people in Who's Who by Liu Shao and Yan Family Instructions by Yan Zhitui as well as the related theories in the Wei, Jin, Northern and Southern Dynasties, the author gives a comparative study of the two books. The author holds that besides the influence of the social surroundings, personal experiences, family backgrounds and writing motivation are important factors in influencing their viewpoints on talented people and their cultural styles. The author also points out that the two books are works by bureaucrats in ancient China and reveal their pursuit of wealth and fame and evasion of responsibilities, which reveal from another angle the utilitarianism and conservatism of this theory.
