湘西苗族文化的现代性建构

百年来,湘西苗族在国家力量的导引下,开始了文化的现代性建构。其现代性文化的建构特征主要表现为:理性、科学对民间信仰的冲击;权利意识的强烈伸张;文化主体意识的增强;文化开放性的日益明显。湘西苗族文化现代性建构的百年历程表明,现代性文化是传统与现代的矛盾统一体,是传统与现代因素在一个文化体中相互激荡、相互交织、相互吸收、共同形塑的文化样式。
