| Abstract: | Investment liberalization requires a reasonable legal system. The essay analyzes the main legal factors of the policy liberalization of international direct investment, including admission of market, national treatment, prohibiting performance requirements, restricting investment incentives, and transparency of law and policies. Furthermore, it discusses the reaction of international agreements. Finally, it suggests that the developing countries' interests should be considered into the course of establishing the laws and policies of international direct investment liberalization. |
