When talking about the problem of how to write history,Zhang xuecheng and Hayden White all emphasized on the relationship between literature and history.The former put forward the method of harnessing literature as the assistance of history,while the latter established a systematic theory of post-modernism historical narration.There were not only similarities,but also disparities based on the historical backgrounds,the culture and tradition between these two theories.By comparing these two literature-history perspectives,the author attempts to investigate the similarities and disparities.
