论翻译研究中的文化转向

翻译研究的文化转向正式始于1990年,在不到半个世纪的时间里,它如洪流一般,席卷了整个翻译研究领域。中国译界在认识翻译研究的文化转向时,只是从西方译界的理论入手,而忽视了文化研究这一根本。因此,文章从文化研究这一本源出发,高度概括了文化研究的特点。而后,梳理了翻译研究文化转向的发展史,并总结二者的关系。最后,通过对翻译研究文化转向的展望,为我国翻译研究事业的发展提出建议。

Cultural Studies and the Cultural Turn in Translation Studies

The cultural turn in translation studies started in 1990,and it has swept translation studies in less than half a century’s time.While following the trend,Chinese researchers have mainly focused on western translation theories and ignored the basis—culture studies.Therefore,this paper starts from the source—culture studies,and then introduces the cultural turn in translation studies,and summarizes the relationship between the two,which the author hopes may provide beneficial suggestions for Chinese translation studies.
