马铃薯产业的现状与发展

马铃薯是世界第四大粮食作物,在保障粮食安全和实现千年发展目标方面具有不可替代的作用。马铃薯产业发展现状呈现3个方面的特征:发达国家的马铃薯产业已进入一个成熟和稳定的阶段;在发展中国家则因为对食物增长和膳食结构改变的需求正处于一个快速增长时期,增长速度在粮食作物中处于前列;马铃薯国际贸易正保持快速增长。对马铃薯市场需求进行了分析,发现种薯市场缺口大、加工产品需求量大、专用薯供不应求。论述了马铃薯产业的发展趋势,提出了我国需要重点解决的产业技术问题主要在于进一步克服高产稳产和产业链延伸中的技术障碍。

Potato Industry: Status and Development

As the fourth food crop in the world,potato has the irreplaceable importance in ensuring food security and realizing the millennial development target.The status of potato industry development shows the following three characteristics:potato industry in developed countries has come into a mature and stable stage while potato industry is experiencing the fastest growth among other food crops in developing countries as demands for food and/or better dietary pattern continuously increase and international trade of potato keeps rapid growth.This paper ananlyzes the market demand of potato and discovers that potato seed and processed products have the large market demand and the supply of potato for special purposes cannot keep pace with the increasing demand.This paper finally points out the developmental tendency of potato industry and proposes that how to develop China’s potato industry is mainly focusing on overcoming the technological obstacle in high and stable yield of potato and the extention of industrial chains.
