| 摘 要： | 翻译目的论强调译文在译语文化中的交际功能，为公示语的汉英翻译提供了有力的理论支持。本文运用目的论的三个主要法则，即目的法则、连贯法则和忠实法则，分析了内蒙古通辽市公示语汉英翻译中存在的错误，并探讨了公示语翻译的有效方法。

| Abstract: | Skopostheorie stresses the communicative function of the translated text in the target culture,so it can serve as a sound theoretical basis for the translation of Chinese public signs into English.This paper analyzes the errors in the current translation of public signs in Tongliao by using the three rules of the Skopostheorie: skopos rule,coherence rule and fidelity rule and puts forward effective translating methods in light of Skopostheorie. |
