自由的平等之义与平等的自由之基——罗尔斯的正义原则的一种解读

自由和平等,这两个当代最重要的基本政治价值,在自由主义者那里,似乎总是存在着矛盾和冲突,不可调和。新自由主义的代表人物罗尔斯却试图通过建构一种正义理论使自由与平等在其正义两原则之下得以调和：以自由为核心的第一原则内含着强烈的平等诉求,而集中体现罗尔斯平等观念的第二原则则是为了自由价值的真正实现。罗尔斯正义理论的核心是他所提出的＂平等的自由＂,而这种自由是高于一切的,它只能为了自由本身的缘故被限制。

Freedom and equality,the two of the most important fundamental political values,there always seem to be contradictions and conflicts,can＇t be reconciled in the liberals＇ view.Representative of neo-liberalism Rawls was trying to construct a theory of justice to reconcile freedom and equality under his two principles of justice： the first principle which takes freedom as the core contains strong equality demands,and the second principal which embodies his equality thoughts is to achieve the value of freedom.The core of Rawls＇ justice theory is equal freedom,this freedom is above all,it can only be restricted for the sake of freedom.
