论鲁迅翻译中的"信而不顺"

On"Faithfulness"and"Clumsiness"in Lu Xun's Translations

Lu Xun's translation theory focuses on the two concepts of"faithfulness"and"clumsiness".His non-mainstream thinking on translation once aroused controversy in Chinese literary circles and his clumsy translations had many attackers.This paper aims to examine the underlying reasons for his translation theory by looking at his views on language and culture.The author concludes that Lu Xun's openness and receptiveness towards alien cultures as reflected in his thinking on translation have significant implications for today against the backdrop of this integrating world.
