论后现代境遇中的现代化选择

中国现代化选择包含三个层次 :其一是要否现代化 ,其二是选择何种现代化 ,其三是在现代化建设中对西方现代化经验和传统文化的选择。这三个层次的选择贯穿了 2 0世纪中国的历史。而现代化选择长期未果的重要原因 ,在于把现代性等同于现代化 ,把现代化等同于西化。因此 ,在人类社会从现代转向后现代时期 ,中国要对现代化作出正确的选择 ,就必须对现代性有新的理解 ,必须对现代化路向的选择有全面的认识。

On China's Modernization Selection

The selection of china's modernization contains three levels:The firstis whether or not the modernization is to be needed;the second is which modernization is to be selected;the third is to select and assimilate western experience in modernization and the Chinese traditional culture.For a long time modernity is equated with modernization and modernization with westernizaton.As a result,what modernization should be selected remains a problem in china all through the 20th century,with a change from modern to postmodern times, New understanding of modernity and fall awareness of modernization direction are needed for our right selection of modernization.
