| 摘 要： | 语言是文化的载体 ,而词汇是语言中最活跃的成分 ,语言在反映文化方面突出体现在词汇层面。颜色词是每一个民族语言和文化中不可缺少的重要部分 ,它们具有独特的语言功能和文化含义。文章从文化语言学和对比语言学的角度探讨了英汉两种语言中颜色词的文化内涵及其差异的文化渊源 ,这一问题的研究 ,对英语教学、跨文化交际及翻译实践有一定的现实意义

| Abstract: | Language is closely related with culture. Language reflects culture, and words in a language play a most important role in it. Color words are an essential part of language and culture, and have special linguistic functions and cultural implications. This paper discusses cultural connotations of color words in English and Chinese, and analyses their causes. A deep understanding of cultural connotations is the step to success in English teaching, intercultural communication and translation practice. |
