Fu Sinian has a rich national thought,which is an important opponent of his academic thoughts and linked with his historical thought,political thought and educational thought closely.To Study his national thought is most valuable for grasping his academic thoughts,especially his historical thought comprehensively.When the Chinese nation was in deep crisis,Fu Sinian called upon the whole nation to unite against the foreign aggression,and insisted on the Chinese nation as a whole in which every nationality was equal.Meantime he put forward that "we should make China the orthodoxy of scientific Orientalism",and tried his best to make the Chinese scholarship keep pace with the world.Fu Sinian's national thought is a valuable academic heritage,so we should study it in a deepgoing way and inherit it critically.
