| 摘 要： | 惯用语越来越受到国内外语言学家的关注和重视。对惯用语隐喻意义的识别进行实证研究是一个新的尝试。惯用语意义的识别情况,进一步从实践上证实了惯用语的语义具有非任意性、可预测性的特点,惯用语可以作为一种学习策略来运用。在日常教学中,应该鼓励学生对惯用语的意义进行深层次的认知分析,使其通过对惯用语的学习,达到提高文化自觉意识、促进外语学习的目的。

| Abstract: | Great importance is increasingly being attached to idioms by linguists both at home and abroad.And it is a new attempt to have a case study on recognizing the meanings of English idioms.Results of the study show the comprehension of idiomatic meanings,indicating that their meanings are guessable and non-arbitrary.The paper also contends that idioms can be employed as one of the learning strategies so as to improve students' cultural self-consciousness and their language proficiency. |
