During his stay in Malaysia,Yu Dafu＇s literary and artistic theory on art nature and function and on social issues is of distinctive features of realism and Marxist aesthetics.During the anti-Japanese war,Yu Dafu adhered to a view that a writer should not only respect the law of artistic creation,but also pay attention to the artistic expression of literary and artistic works.He made his view clear from the following aspects——the creativity of the main subject,the selection of writing style and material,the expression of artistic aesthetics,aiming at improving the quality of the realistic works in anti-Japanese period.
