| Abstract: | This paper argues,from the perspective of discourse strategy theory,that there is close relationship between cultural presupposition and the language barriers in cross-cultural communication.The characteristics and influences of cultural presupposition are to be deeply discussed in attempt of identifying the importance of cultural presupposition in foreign language learning. |
