The Developing History of the Western Economists' Market Regulation Theory About the Colleges and Universities' Behavior——Comparing Research About the Idea of the Market Regulation of Higher Education from Adam Smith, John Sluart Mill and Thorstein Veblen

The reform of modern higher education's marketilization has developed into a worldwide reform campaign.It also has been supported in the fields of new public management and the theory of globalization.However,theoretically,there are many different opinions about this reform campaign.Actually,the developing history about marketilization reform of higher education reflects the developing history of western economic thoughts.The famous early economists in western countries,such as Adam Smith,John Sluart Mill and Veblen,have started the theory of the marketilization of modern higher education from the point of economic regulation of colleges and universities' behavior.Studying its origin and the developing process is very important for us to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the marketilization reform of modern higher education.
