| 摘 要： | 当代美国社会经济高度发达 ,物质财富丰裕 ,却也有人数众多的穷人。从贫困结构来看 ,黑人、拉丁裔人 ,女性、儿童 ,农村人和居住在中心城市的人的贫困率很高 ,白人的贫困率则较低。当代美国的这种贫困结构是美国社会经济制度的产物 ,一些群体由于种种原因在社会经济竞争中处于弱势地位 ,因此他们的贫困率极高

| Abstract: | A large poor class exists in the advanced and affluent society of contemporary America. In view of the poverty structure it is evident that the rates of poverty among the Black,Hispanic,female,children and peoples who live in rural areas and central cities are higher than other Americans. This sort of poverty structure is produced by the social economic system,because these groups are in weak positions in the highly-competitive society. |
