高管团队异质性对企业绩效的影响

摘    要:选取截止至2014年我国上市公司作为研究样本,通过实证分析研究高管团队异质性特征对四个生命周期阶段企业绩效的影响。结果表明,教育程度异质性对不同生命周期阶段的企业绩效均有显著正影响,而性别、年龄、任期、专业背景、职业背景异质性则对不同生命周期阶段的企业有不同的显著性影响。据此,不同生命周期阶段的企业有必要配置不同特征的高管团队来提升企业绩效。

Abstract:The listed companies in China before 2014 are selected as samples, and the influence of heterogeneity characteristics of top management team(TMT)to enterprise performance in four life-cycle stages is studied through empirical analysis. The result shows that the heterogeneity of education levels has significant positive influence to enterprise performance in different life cycle stages, while the heterogeneities of gender, age, tenure, professional background and career background have differently significant influences to enterprise performance in different life cycle stages. According to it, to organize TMT with different characteristics is essential for enterprises in different life cycle stages, in order to improve enterprise performance.
