“忠实”似乎已成为译者的天职。然而，现代翻译理论对“忠实”这一翻译标准提出了质疑．翻译研究中的解构学派试图解构这一标准，传统“忠实”翻译标准受到前所未有的挑战。伽达默尔提出了“理解的历史性”的哲学解释学原则。根据这一原则，对传统“忠实”翻译标准的理解也应具有历史性。传统“忠实”翻译标准有可供解释的空间。

A Hermeneutic Interpretation of the "Faithfulness" Translation Criterion

Speaking of traditional translation criterion, we cannot avoid talking about ＂faithfulness＂. It seems that ＂faithfulness＂ has become translators＇ top guide-principle. But modern translation theory questioned this criterion. The Deconstructionism School in translation studies attempts to deconstruct the traditional ＂faithfulness＂ criterion. So the traditional ＂faithfulness＂ translation criterion is now facing unprecedented challenges. Gadamer put forward the philosophical hermeneutics principle of historical interpretation according to which our interpretation of traditional ＂faithfulness＂ translation criterion should be historical. The traditional ＂faithfulness＂ translation criterion has room for further interpretation.
