| 摘 要： | 翻译是跨语言、跨文化的活动,随着社会的进步、时间的推移,一些在过去被认为是不可译的文本,现在都成为可译的了。并且可译性会随着各国之间的频繁接触而增加。因此,不可译性是相对的,从语言和文化两个方面例证中、英文互译时的不可译的相对性。

| Abstract: | Translation is a kind of cross-linguistic and crosscultural activity.With the social development and as time passes by,some untranslatable target texts are converted into translatable texts.What is more,translatability will be increased because of globalization i.e.the frequent communication among countries.As a result,it is believed that the untranslatability is relative,which this thesis aims to prove with examples in Chinese-English and English-Chinese translation from linguistic and cultural perspectives. |
