公民美德比较性研究

阿尔蒙德《公民文化》对20世纪60年代的西方五国公民美德作了实证研究,国家社科基金项目“公民日常行为的道德分析”对现阶段我国的公民美德状况进行了实证调查。两次调查各有侧重,前者着重于公民文化,后者则立足于公民的日常生活,但就调查的主体、对象及公民美德的层次而言,二者的比较具有坚实的理论基础。二者之间的数据比较也得出了一些结论:我国大多数公民居于日常性美德层次,而我国的公民文化则属于臣民能力与异化的公民参与。

A Contrastive Study of Civil Virtue

Civic Culture written by Gabriel A.Almond and Sidney Verba investigated the conditions of civil virtue in five Western countries,and the social survey of "Analysis of moral ordinary life of citizens" could provide concrete evidence of civil virtue in China.These two surveys had different views,but as far as the subject,object and the level of civil virtue were concerned,the comparison of data of two social surveys had enough reasons.Furthermore,we can draw some conclusions by comparison: the level of civil virtue of most citizens in China was moderate,and civil culture of China belonged to subject ability and dissimilation of civil participation.
