| 摘 要： | 艾米莉·狄金森是与惠特曼齐名的西方现代主义诗歌先驱。李清照是中国古代的"词家大宗"。由于中西方文化的差异,这两位杰出女性的诗词主题和表达方式同中有异。狄金森的诗作主要涉及爱情、自然和死亡(宗教)等主题;李清照的词作则以爱情、自然和国家民族为重。即使是同一主题,她们的表达方式也有所不同。将她们的作品对照研究,能更清楚地窥见她们各自文化传统的某些本质特征。

| Abstract: | Emily Dickinson is one of the pioneers of western modernist poetry,along with Walt Whitman,while Li Qingzhao is recognized as＂the ancestor of Ci＂.Owing to the cultural discrepancy between western countries and China,the two eminent women＇s poems bear similarities and differences in their themes and expression patterns.Dickinson＇s poems cover such themes as love,nature and death（religion）,while the themes involved in Li＇s poems include love,nature and nation.In some cases,even though the same theme is reflected in their poems,it can be expressed in different ways.This paper makes a comparative study of their works and explores the different features of their cultural traditions. |
