| 摘 要： | 在宋代,厢军为从事役作的杂役军,通过履行其役作职能,承担原本由民户来完成的繁杂役作。其役作职能主要有以下几个方面:运输物资、兴修水利、屯田垦荒、隶役官员与修葺营建等。这些职能对宋代社会安定具有重大作用。

| Abstract: | In Song Dynasty,the Xiang Force was a kind of service soldier.It was engaged in miscellaneous service,such as transporting material,dredging rivers,opening up wasteland,servicing the officials,maintaining the buildings,which were usually done by the peasants.These functions of the Xiang Force were very useful to the society of Song Dynasty. |
