Landscape Paintings of Huancuitang Garden, by Qian Gong showed Wang Tingne＇ s, the dramatist in the Ming Dynasty, garden life. It is very precious, for it provided visual information about the reclusive life by an official in the late Ming Dynasty. This picture reflected the alliance between the garden painting about the profound scholar in the Wu school and the commercial culture, and showed a personality transformation from virtuous sages to famous stars. It was another dimension of homestead consciousness in the Ming Dynasty, which was different from the spirit of Caotang, whose owner, such as Dong Qichang and Chen Jiru were defending the independent personality.
