| Abstract: | The methodology of linguistic research has given rise to a great interest of the scholars in linguistic field at present. This paper sums up a series of the bases, principles and main types in methodology of linguistic research from the history of linguistics and the different schools of theories. And it points out that the advanced position in linguistics is, in fact, that of methodology in linguistics. |
