| Abstract: | Based on a brief analysis of the present situation of oral English teaching for non-English majors in China's colleges and universities, the author introduces the method of using recording-media to organize oral English teaching activities in and out of college English class, and discusses the theoretical basis of this method as well as its role in facilitating an optimized oral English teaching process which is characterized by the integration of teacher's classroom instruction with students' autonomous learning. |
