| Abstract: | Chinese characters, in the process of their creation by the ancients, were endowed with abundant cultural implications in their structures. By looking into their formation, we can further trace their origin and evolution, and discern the relationship between their structures and meanings so as to reveal the splendid culture of the Han people, preparing for the establishment of the study as a branch of learning. |
