意象理论与对外汉语教学

摘    要:语言通过认知的中介间接反映客观世界。语言是知识的编码系统。认知语言学从人与客观世界的互动经验出发说明语言的结构和功能 ,在揭示本族人习焉不察而外族人困惑不解的语言现象方面表现出明显的优势。意象是人以不同方式组织某个领域内容的能力 ,意象理论从意象方面分析语言的结构 ,于对外汉语教学有直接的帮助。本文讨论了意象理论在对外汉语教学中 4个方面的作用 :(1)说明词的用法差异 ;(2 )量词教学 ;(3)说明语义的发展 ;(4)说明同义句式的差异

Abstract:Language reflects the objective world indirectly through the medium of cognition, and is a code system of knowledge. Cognitive linguistics shows the structures and functions of language from the interaction of man and the objective world, and holds a considerable advantage in casting light on some linguistic phenomena, to which native speakers are too accustomed to call them in question but at which foreigners feel puzzled. Imagery is man's method of, or ability in, understanding the content of a certain field. The theory of imagery analyses the structures of language and contributes directly to Chinese teaching for foreigners.
