Investigation of the Written Time of the Book 〈Hongfan-the Grand Law〉

As one of the grand ruling laws in the ancient time of our country, the book was held in esteem by the following feudalist rulers of various dynasties. It has significant meaning for the study of the ancient ideological and politic theory development history to investigate its written time. The various different doctrines from the past to the present have laid a solid literature foundation for further studying it and the newly discovered historic materials have led to again understanding this question. According to the newly discovered materials, it can be derived that this book must written in the period of the great prosperity of slave system, that was the middle period of West Zhou dynasty.
