| Abstract: | With regard to Xiao Yan's (Emperor Wudi of Liang dynasty) official experience before Liang dynasty, there are not so detailed records in the historical works. This note tries to do some preliminary textual research on his official experience in the period of 482 to 502 and explanations on part of poems and papers written by him then. |
