On the Historical Function and Contemporary Value of Inclusive Development Ideology

The western nations which have long been prevailing in the world system now are unable of managing the troubled situation the world is suffering, which leads to an urgent need of a new model of development and management for the world. Inclusive Development Ideology (IDI) provides an alternative. This article introduced the academic background and evolution of IDI, penetrated the core thoughts and essentials of this ideology. The authors advocated that the IDI could be a solid basis of systemic and perspective policies aiming at resolving the problems such as income and development gaps China now is suffering. By extension, the IDI could also provide principles which promote China''s deeper opening strategy at present.
