| 摘 要： | 当代中国外交60多年的发展历程经历了不同的阶段，关于其历史分期的问题，学界存在诸多争议和分歧。概括起来，大体可以分为“二分期”、“三分期”、“四分期”、“五分期”、“六分期”五类之说，又各具优势和不足。当代中国外交应以十一届三中全会的召开为标志分为前后两大阶段，每个阶段又包含三个时期。

| Abstract: | Although opinions on how to define the historical stages in the 60-year diplomatic history of People＇s Republic of China are different and disputable, it has been agreed that there are six distinctive periods on the whole. The Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee marks two important stages and each of the two stages includes three periods. |
