乡村精英一直是国内外学者研究中国村治制度的切入点，随着中国现代化建设的不断推进，农村社会在经济、政治、文化等个方面都发生了巨大的变迁，对乡村精英的探讨也越来越成为政治学或社会学、管理学等学科讨论的重点和热点话题。以村庄记忆为参照物，探讨乡村精英在村庄记忆这一现代化产物的变迁中行动的策略问题，以精英的行动策略为对象分析和反思中国社会转型的后果是如何在农村社会中得到反映和体现的。
