魏晋南北朝“史例中兴”问题再探讨

从史学发展的背景出发，从“史例”之作是否起于《春秋》、例之为体《左传》后曾否中绝及“中兴”之例是否始于干宝等方面对刘知畿的“史例中兴”说进行了考察，认为刘氏此说值得商榷，《春秋》经传及秦汉之时的史书并未有吏例，至魏晋南北朝时期，由于《春秋》经传注解尚“通”、史学发展等因素的影响，干宝在所著《晋纪》中始立叙例，此后诸史相沿，史例才发展成为一种文体，反映了此时期人们对史书编纂探讨的深入，对后世学术的发展产生了深远的影响。
