美国和谐社会思想资源与战后族群关系的重建

美国是个拥有丰富和谐社会思想资源的国家。其目标是追求人际、人地、族群关系的理想主义建构。以黑白对立为标志的族群冲突一直是美国社会最严峻的结构性问题。在和谐社会思想传统直接间接作用下，战后美国社会在和谐族群关系的建构上进行了不懈努力，这些努力包括通过司法判决纠正以往法律偏差，通过行政干预维护司法权威以促进种族融合，通过大规模立法消除种族隔离，强化社会福利政策以改善黑人的生活，推行多元文化主义，培育全社会的文化平等意识，等等。虽然距离真正和谐社会还有漫长的路要走，但既有的成就是无可否认的。

The American Thinking Resources for a Harmonious Society and the Remaking of the Post-WWII Ethnic Relations

America possesses affluently thinking resources for a harmonious society. Its aim is to search for an idealist framework of relations such as among humans, human--natures, ethnics and so forth. The clash of ethnics the conflict between the white and black is a main symbol--has been a mostly serious problem in American social structure. Since the end of the WWII, there have been a sustained effort to construct a harmonious race relations in American society which based directly or indirectly on the traditional harmonious thinking. It includes that correcting the past legal biases through judicial judgment, keeping the authority of justice with administrative intervention to promote race integrity, abolishing race segregation through a series of legislation, reinforcing social welfare policies to make the life of the black people better, progressing multiculturalism to nurture a sense of equal cultures in all society. Although American society has not yet a harmonious one, its accomplishment in pursuit of idealism is obvious.
