试论儒家价值观对中国传统体育的影响

体育活动往往承载着特定的文化内涵,表现出特定的价值取向。这种价值取向深刻地体现着某一民族哲学价值观对体育的影响。中国传统体育的产生、发展、成熟与儒家哲学有着密不可分的联系。尤其是在以注重和谐、重义轻利、崇德轻力的儒家价值观为主的传统哲学的直接影响下,中国传统体育形成了强调身心全面发展、倡导身体与精神和谐一致,注重体育活动中德性品质的修养和道德境界的提升的特点。在现代体育日益陷入滥用违禁药物、球场暴力、体育异化等诸多伦理道德、价值观困境之时,中国传统体育的这些特点更加闪耀出人本主义的光辉,可以很好地弥补现代西方体育发展之不足。

How Did the Confucian Values Influence the Traditional Chinese Physical Education

Physical activity is often loaded with special cultural connotation and axiology preference,which shows the effects of ethnic philosophy.The beginning and development of Chinese physical activity is closely connected with Chinese tradition philosophy.Directly affected by the axiology of Chinese philosophy such as the seeking of harmoniousness,the admiring of morality,and the despising of physical power,Chinese traditional physical activity emphasizes the harmonious development of both body and mind,which seeks to elevate the moral level through the physical activity.Modern physical activity is now facing ethical difficulties,such as the abuse of forbidden pharmacy,violence on the field and the alienation of physical activity,the hu- manitarian spirit in Chinese traditional physical activity will bring new hope to the modern western physical activities.
