Wang Kaiyun was noticed by his unconventional disposition and carefree life among these Hunan scholars in Late Qing dynasty.Same with the most traditional intellectuals,he also once hoped to realize his dreams through passing the imperial civil service examination or entering the officials' curtains,but everywhere run into a wall actually.He did not change his carefree life manner at the same time,which displayed prominently in his relations with the powerful officials,his academic style as well as his attitude to the newly emerging things.
