| 摘 要： | 20世纪 90年代 ,保守主义成为中国知识界争相谈论的热门话题 ,但保守主义究竟何所指 ,各人的理解并不统一。与柏克的西方现代保守主义不同 ,中国的保守主义主要是一种文化上的保守主义 ,主张弘扬民族文化传统 ,尊崇权威和秩序 ,批判现代性 ,反对激进革命。保守主义与激进主义的双峰对峙 ,是 2 0世纪中国文化论争的基本主题 ,任何全盘肯定或轻薄乃至敌视保守主义的做法 ,都是不可取的 ,应提倡一种历史的、辩证的研究态度和评价方法

| Abstract: | During the 1990's, conservatism was a heated discussion among Chinese intellectuals. However they had different understanding about it.Different from Burke western modern conservatism, the Chinese conservatism is one based on culture, hoping to revive the national cultural tradition, worship authority and order, criticize modernism and oppose radical revolution. The conflict between conservatism and radicalism is a key subject of the cultural argument in China in the 20 th century. It is unwise either to swallow conservatism or to scorn or even have a hostile attitude towards it. It should be studied and assessed in a historic and dialectical way. |
