从李安电影人物语言看高语境话语模式的影响

Impacts of the High Context Language Model in Terms of the Dialogues in the Movies by Ang Lee

The movies directed by Ang Lee fall into two types： those produced in the Hollywood model, and those, in the Eastern high context language model, the latter being obviously more affirmed than the former. In the globalization of Chinese language movies, the impacts of different contexts on cultural communication can never be ignored, for the high context can accommodate the low one, but not vice versa. Only by setting apart the dialogues of his movies, and interpreting the high context language model from the two perspectives of the ＂hidden＂, ＂jumping＂ and ＂scene＂ and ＂empty words＂, can the affirmation of Ang Lee＇s movies in the Western evaluation system be explained.
