Theory of self on learning motivation mainly involved in theory and research of self-esteem, self-efficacy, self-concept, and possible self. The research of self-esteem explored influence of affective self or feeling of self-worth on students learning. The research of self-efficacy focused on role of academic ability,self-confidence of students to promote and regulate the using of learning strategy, effort level and persistence. The research of self-concept mainly discussed and demonstrated the influence of general evaluation and judgment of academic ability on academic achievement.
