变动社会中的外交模式--从宋廷对高丽使臣接待制度看宋丽关系之流变

宋政权一直做着天朝大国的美梦,意欲恢复汉唐的辉煌,但在现实面前不断受挫,宋朝接待高丽使臣制度的流变正是这一现象的反映。宋对高丽使臣的接待经历了一系列的变化:宋初以东夷之国视之,进而不断提升,至仿西夏例,进而易为仿辽例,至南宋又有回落,最后失去直接的遣使往来。这一变化过程正是宋朝国力日衰及其在整个东亚世界中地位下降的折射。

Diplomatic Modes in Changing Society

The Song power had always been dreaming the dream of a heavenly power,and trying to restore the prosperity of Han and Tang dynasties.However,it was frustrated by reality.The system change of receiving Korean envoys was a reflection of this.The reception of Koreans underwent a series of changes.In early Song,it treated Korea as a barbarian country in the east,then promoted the treatment as Western Xia,then as Liao,and toward the Southern Song,it declined till finally giving up sending diplomatic envoys.This process indicated the decline of Song and the lowering of status among East Asian countries.
