文笔论

摘    要:文笔之分是六朝文学中的一个特殊现象,本源于两汉时的文学文章之分。随着晋代文章总集编选的兴盛,文体辨析遂显示出其必要性;再加上魏晋时骈文初步形成,与散体文逐渐分途,并得以进一步发展。此二因素应是文笔之分出现的前提与条件。具体而言,六朝时的文笔,应包括“文学”中的文笔和“文章”中的文笔两种含义。前者是从文学性质上区分的,而后者则是从文章形式上区分的。

Abstract:The distinction between verse and prose was an idiosyncratic phenomenon in the literatures of the Six Dynasties.It actually originated from the distinction between Confucianism and rhythmical prose(pianwen) in the two Han Dynasties.With the prosperity of compilation in general collections from the Jin Dynasty,the discrimination in literary forms displayed its necessity.The rhythmical prose of parallelism which primarily appeared in the Wei and the Jin dynasty became gradually separable from prose and developed further.The two factors were the presuppositions and conditions of the distinction between verse and prose.Specifically explained,the verse and prose in the Six Dynasties included the verse and prose which existed in the then literary woks and the verse and prose which existed in rhythmical prose.Bearing two meanings,the former distinction was based on the literary nature,whereas the latter distinction was based on the form of rhythmical prose.
