| Abstract: | Modernity is one of the hot issues in the fields of philosophy, aesthetics and social theory. There can be various approaches to the study of modernity. One of the effective approaches is the shift from modernity as a total concept to aesthetic modernity as a local concept. By engaging the complicated relations among different types of local modernity, the approach touches upon the contradiction and tension of modernity itself. |
