| Abstract: | Language,in its development,has been deeply ingrained with traces of a particular society,reflecting unique cultural heritage. This paper attempts,in this perspective,to explore the impact on the development of English language by the Bible,and states that the translation of the Bible into English has great impact on the language transition from the Middle English to the Modern English and its development. |
