| 摘 要： | 犹太作家辛格在其作品中创造出一系列让人过目不忘的愚人形象。在其短篇小说《傻瓜吉姆佩尔》中,主人公吉姆佩尔貌似愚钝,他之所以选择此种生活方式,其实是恶劣生活环境下的自我适应以及民族文化心理引导下的自主行为,由此可见,吉姆佩尔不是一般人所公认的“愚人”,而是“智者”。

| Abstract: | Isaac Bashevis Singer, is well-known for his successful depiction of a series of recognized fools. In his Gimpel the Fool, the author, through an analysis of the reasons in driving Gimpel into choosing to live as a fool, intends to demonstrate the fact that Gimpel is not a fool at all, but a saint in nature. |
