新生代农民工城乡转移路径探析

新生代农民工作为当前农民工的主体力量,与老一代农民工相比,受教育程度相对较高,职业期望值高,物质和精神享受要求高,工作耐受力低,对制度性身份的认可和对家乡的乡土认同在减弱。他们融入城市社会的主观意愿强烈,并积极调整自己的生活生产方式、价值观念和行为模式,主动适应并努力融入城市生活,然而城乡分割的二元制度、高昂的经济成本、自身素质限制等导致他们处于＂城乡双重边缘化＂的尴尬境地。要发挥政府主导作用,加快县城经济发展,推进城镇发展制度创新,重视对该群体的技能培训和发展,着力创造良好的社会环境加强社会融合,促进他们更好地融入城市社会生活。

An Exploratory Analysis of How the New Generation of Migrant Workers Integrate into the Urban Community

As the main force of the current migrant workers,the new generation of migrant workers,compared to the old generation of migrant workers,are better educated,have more expectation for career,long for more material and spiritual enjoyments,and have lower tolerance of poor work conditions.Many young migrant workers are short of farming experience,who neither recognize their farmer identity nor show closeness to their rural hometown.They actively readjust their life style,values and behavior in order to adapt to urban life,but the huge gap between rural and urban area,the high economic cost,these people＇s poor quality,and other barriers against development result in the embarrassing situation of their being peripheral to both rural and urban community.It is suggested that government play a leading role in speeding up the small town building,push forward system innovation,pay attention to the popularization of the young migrant workers＇ skill training,focus on creating a good social environment oriented to social integration,and promote the new generation of migrant workers to better integrate into the urban community.
