论周作人以文化为中心之日本研究的特点

The Characteristics of Zhou Zuoren's Japan Study Centering around Culture

Zhou Zuoren's rational knowledge and consideration of the Japanese culture which exists as independent national culture is analysed through his numbers of articles on Japan study published between the 1920s and 1930s.Zhou firmly held the views that the Japanese culture was an independent culture that had close relationship in origin with the Chinese culture,that the Japanese culture was even superiour in certain aspects to the Chinese culture,and that Japan was culturally equal with China.Such a view can also be regarded as Zhou's outlook on the Japanese culture,which also clearly reflects his outlook on the world culture.It is considered as one of Zhou's fundamental thoughts to develop a tolerant multi-element outlook on the world culture on the basis of respect for other national cultures.It is under the domination of a tolerant multi-element outlook on the world culture that Zhou firmly held advocacy of study of Japan and made a ponder on the Japanese culture and nationalism.
