Preliminary Studies on Managerial Ideas of Shanxi Businessmen in Ming and Qing Dynasties

Shanxi businessmen in the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty were an excellent group and famous for their remarkable achievements. Activities of the group started in the Ming dynasty and reached the climax in the Qing Dynasty. During the period of five hundred years they accumulated invaluable managerial ideas, including human orientation, integrity, being practical, moral ethics and two win principles. These ideas enriched and developed the modern business management in China. Studies on the ideas aim to put the ideas to good use in current business activities and revive Shanxi business.
