英语Irony和汉语反语的比较与翻译

英、汉两种语言中的修辞格之间常常存在相同和不同之处 ,所以在英汉互译时有必要先弄清楚二者的异同。本文通过对英语修辞格Irony和汉语修辞格反语从定义、作用、分类及应用等方面进行比较分析 ,发现两者在本质上是相同的 ,从而在进行两种辞格的翻译时 ,主要采用再现原文的复制法 ,即直译。但为了能使原文更清楚 ,有时也采用增添字词的译法。

The Comparison and Translation Between English Irony and Chinese Irony

There are always similarities and differences between English figures and Chinese figures,therefore it is very necessary to make clear the similarities and differences when we do some translation. This article compared and analyzed English Irony and Chinese Irony from their definitions,functions,varieties,and application,and found the two are same in fact. So we mainly use literal translation to reappear the meaning of the original text. But in order to make the translation more clear,sometimes we add some words to the original text.
