Virginia Woolf:A Pioneer of Feminist Literary Criticism

As a woman writer,Virgina Woolf began to explore feminist literary criticism early in the end of 1920s.She studied woman's literary activities in terms of their social,economical,cultural conditions and she tried hard to restore female literary tradition and recreate woman's own language.In fact,she made great efforts in her writing to challenge man's cultural hegemony,and can be regarded as a pioneer in feminist literary theory.
